AND strengthen your relationships with the great women in your network. Here’s how you do it Post your favorite picture of yourself. One of your favorites, anyway. It’s okay if it’s not THE favorite. No explanation necessary. Tag three women in your network. And say a little something about what you admire about them – whatever words let them know they are great. Add the hashtag #WomenWithCandor. That’s it. And that’s $1 Candor Threads will donate to Female Strong to support their mission. Candor Threads Cares – Help Us Give Back!
At Candor Threads, our community is important to us. That’s why showing up for and giving back to our hometown Chicago is vital to our core values. This year has had its ups and downs for everyone, but we’ve been fortunate enough to be able to pitch in alongside our incredible community partners. So as we look forward to another year of working with our local community, we also want to look back and reflect on the amazing work of these great organizations.
A special request for #GivingTuesday
We find that the holidays are an inspiring time to give back to our communities. So on Giving Tuesday 11/28, we are asking you to join us in sponsoring Twist Out Cancer, an incredible non-profit that provides community and support through the arts to those affected by cancer.
Twist Out Cancer and Brushes with Cancer
Recently I had the amazing opportunity to attend Twist out Cancer’s Brushes with Cancer 2017 Chicago gala. It was an incredible night created by Twist’s founder Jenna Benn Shersher and her amazing board and supporters. Jenna and her crew brought together over 700 people for a night full of laughter, love, emotion, talking and dancing.
