Customer Spotlight: St. John’s Jesuit High School and Academy

We are so happy to feature St. John's for our September Customer Spotlight!  St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is northwestern Ohio’s Jesuit Catholic High School for young men in grades 6 - 12.  We have worked with them since 2011, and each year they have ordered from us we have watched them excel in their commitment to their students and community.  Their education program is rooted in Ignatian teachings, creating students open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, loving and committed to social justice.

Complete custom scarf options, part three: digital printing and fabric options

Hello Shoppers!  We're here to give you an overview on our current scarf materials. (Check out our previous posts about creating scarf artwork and our two most popular materials, silk and polyester!) We've received many questions about digital printing on various scarf materials, so we want to give you a rundown of all of your options!  We've also greatly expanded our fabric selection, so we'll cover those as well. First: Digital printing is like an inkjet process, but for dye on fabric.  As of 2018, we use digital printing instead of screen printing for smaller (under 250+ pcs) orders. This means we can more efficiently print a wide range of colors and gradients, and digital printing is both faster and more environmentally friendly than screen printing. However, the dye doesn't sink into the fabric quite as much as screen printing, particularly on some thicker fabrics. [gallery columns="2" type="square" size="medium" ids="10462,10463,10464,10465"]

Customer Spotlight: YWCA Metropolitan Chicago

We're so proud to showcase our local YWCA branch, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, as our customer spotlight this month!  We started working together last year to create custom scarves to benefit their organization.  This year we also teamed up to create custom scarves for the larger YWCA USA as well.  The YWCA does such amazing work here in our hometown and across the country that we want to share, so we asked Molly Silverman, Chief Strategic Engagement Officer, for more!

Customer Spotlight: the Long Beach Yacht Club

We realized we've been working with the Long Beach Yacht Club for more than five years, and so we're featuring them as our July customer spotlight!  We asked Andrea Hart, director of member services, for more information about the club.

Customer Spotlight: the Marines Pegasus Squadron

This month, we wanted to highlight the men in the squadrons from our most popular shirt design, the Pegasus squadron.  Zoar Morales, who we've worked with to make shirts for both the Pegasus squadron and the "Super Squadron" Dragons, explains more: I know you were involved with at least two squadrons, the Pegasus HMH-463 and the Dragons VMM-265.  Can you tell us a bit more about these squadrons? Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 (HMH-463) is based in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. We specialize in troop transport and aerial delivery of heavy equipment.  There are over 300 Marines in our unit, serving in various roles to keep our aircraft, the CH-53E Super Stallion, flying so that we are ready to take action when called upon.
