Military groups ask us to make all kinds of custom apparel for them. But what’s the number one request? Hawaiian shirts. 

Carolyn Hardy has been shining her Union County High School spirit for 17 years. We worked with her to create custom Hawaiian shirts after Coach Brian Thompson originally reached out to us. Coach has been battling stage four colon cancer and wanted to use the shirts to remind everyone to remain positive no matter what the circumstances you face. They sent us this touching story about their custom shirts: Coach Thompson was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2014 and came to us in 2018. Through all of his treatments he has led our football team to be the region champs for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. It was Coach Thompson who contacted Shop4Ties to design a Hawaiian Tiki shirt for our staff to encourage everyone to be positive no matter the circumstances we face. Below is a message Coach Thompson sent out to our faculty earlier in the year to explain his Hawaiian take on life.

Recently we worked with Jill Mercurio, Public Works Director for the City of San Pablo, to create custom Hawaiian shirts in honor of their award-winning team. She sent us such a lovely note about enjoying the shirts that we wanted to know more!  Jill graciously took the time to tell us more about their city:

The ACL Airshop has been a pleasure to work with. They ordered logo ties for the Grand Opening of their new factory. We spoke with the CEO of ACL Airshop, Steve Townes, to learn more.

Last year we worked with the fine folk at the Mason Transit Authority in Mason County, WA to create some fun custom Hawaiian shirts for their team.  We loved working with them and appreciate their mission to provide fare-free public transportation in their community.  We've asked them to share more with us and they responded with enthusiasm! Can you tell us a little about Manson Transit Authority?

We’ve been working with the Cal Poly CubeSat (PolySat) team to create custom shirts for a few years now.  They stand out not only because of building miniature satellites, but they always send us cool shirt designs featuring the tiny satellites that they build.

Last fall we received a wonderful video from Dean of our shirts being unboxed by the Arizona River Runners team.  Bruce and Bill are the owners of Arizona River Runners, a Grand Canyon white-water rafting adventure company where Dean works as photographer and marketer.

With the Kentucky Derby coming up in just a few weeks, we've been thinking about roses and mint juleps -- the perfect time for Four Roses Bourbon!  We've been working with them for a few years now and even shared their bow ties and scarves in a previous blog.  This month we're proud to have them as our Customer Spotlight, and so we asked Kelli Wright for more info.

We're proud to feature the Denver and District Pipe Band as our Customer Spotlight this month!  We've worked with many pipe bands, so we know March is their busiest season in honor of St Patrick's Day.  Drew McPheete graciously took time out of his preparations to answer a few questions for us.
