This January we're celebrating sports teams! We work with so many teams and love the way a logo can light up a piece of custom apparel. It's always so fun to see how teams across the country represent themselves through their colors, mascots, and logos. Over the years, we've been given so many amazing opportunities to work with teachers, professors, coaches, and administrators. We've had a blast developing fun products for all of them. Carolyn Hardy has been shining her Union County High School spirit for 17 years. We worked with her to create custom Hawaiian shirts after Coach Brian Thompson originally reached out to us. Coach has been battling stage four colon cancer and wanted to use the shirts to remind everyone to remain positive no matter what the circumstances you face. They sent us this touching story about their custom shirts: Coach Thompson was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2014 and came to us in 2018. Through all of his treatments he has led our football team to be the region champs for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. It was Coach Thompson who contacted Shop4Ties to design a Hawaiian Tiki shirt for our staff to encourage everyone to be positive no matter the circumstances we face. Below is a message Coach Thompson sent out to our faculty earlier in the year to explain his Hawaiian take on life.
Recently we worked with Jill Mercurio, Public Works Director for the City of San Pablo, to create custom Hawaiian shirts in honor of their award-winning team. She sent us such a lovely note about enjoying the shirts that we wanted to know more! Jill graciously took the time to tell us more about their city:
