The Military: Takeaways from the Miramar Air Show
We recently went to the MCAS Miramar Air Show in San Diego to have some fun with squadron members while checking out the show! We wanted to spend some time with the military to better understand their needs and how our shirts can help build morale in their organization. Read on to see the top 5 key takeaways from our adventure!
1. Military members take great pride in their squadron and their designated patch. So much so, that they will decline a free shirt with another squadron’s patch on it! This sense of pride is honorable and commendable.
2. There are 600 military squadrons between the Air Force and the Navy! That’s a whole lot of people working hard to keep us safe!
3. While highly disciplined, the military knows how to let loose and have a good time! We had so much fun getting to know the pilots and other squadron members while enjoying the show and the Officer’s Club!
4. The Blue Angels fly up to 18 inches away from one another at speeds of up to 700 mph! It was amazing to see their show up close and personal.
5. Military members love to cap off their week with Aloha Fridays! They sport their custom Hawaiian shirts while drinking their favorite brew just like the rest of us! Contact us today to get started on a custom design that will spark a connection with your group!
